Take part in our new interdisciplinary management programme
Our new programme aims to educate the next generation of creative managers for international projects - Business talents with global and innovative mindsets who deal with different environments and unexpected changes.
During the programme students are based in Berlin, Germany’s creative and cultural hub, and will be provided with a learning experience on two Berlin campuses – each with a different academic focus and culture.
"International Management - Focus on Creative Leadership" links cutting-edge international management theories with with creative approaches. Students get to know advanced management knowledge including contract and risk management and know how to evaluate projects and drive innovation in companies.
The curriculum includes modules on Digital Business Management, Marketing Management and Foreign Trade as well as Strategic Management, so Master's students are proficient in all business areas.
The "Creative Leadership" focus equips students with expertise how the arts, music and film impact on management theories and practice. They learn about aesthetics in organisations, corporate sound and film making and they are able to apply arts-based methods such as storytelling or songwriting in a multitude of environments for organisational development.
Business organisations are integrating creative processes in their approaches to strategic and day-to-day management and leadership. On a general level, with regard to the extensive changes taking place in society, the economy, and technology, 21st-century organisations need to engage in new, more spontaneous, and more innovative ways of managing. While working on projects, students get to improve their observation and communication skills and are able to strengthen their negotiation, project management, intercultural and team-working skills. Equipped with a well-rounded management education that includes business and creative modules, they become experts who are able to work in a range of industries, professions and countries.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, proof of English language proficiency and successful participation in the selection process. The study programme is open for business students or non business students with or without professional experience.

during the the fourth semester
The English-speaking programme “International Management – Focus on Creative Leadership” deals with general management topics such as Global Strategies, Risk and Contract Management and Innovation and Project Management as well as arts-based management methods and techniques. Students get hands-on experience in internships and projects and get to strenghten their soft, networking and leadership skills.
You get to implement marketing strategies and increase your knowledge on how to efficiently use digital business tools and technological innovation strategies. Creative industries organisations in particular need managers who are able to bridge, balance and negotiate between the world of business and the world of arts.
You are taught how to apply artistic methods such as storytelling, visual, musical or performative methods to your research. Your final thesis builds on creative methods or may use artful forms to communicate findings. These methods are also commonly applied to support change and innovation in organisations, and also help to enhance your own leadership personality.
While working on projects, you will generally improve your observation and communication skills and get to strengthen your negotiation, project management, intercultural and team-working skills. Equipped with a well-rounded management education that includes business and creative modules, you will become an expert who is able to work in a range of industries, professions and countries.

Internship and Career Service
The curriculum includes an internship and industry projects so students get to apply their professional knowledge to real business issues. They gain insight into the challenges faced by international companies and cultural institutions and expand their professional network.
International Advisory Board
The primary purpose of the international advisory board is to counsel the programme director on developing a strong professional profile for the programme and keeping it up to date. Another task of the advisory board is to make suggestions for activities and events that will help students build their personal resumes and facilitate their entry into the job market. Finally, the board makes recommendations for further developments of the programme. The international advisory board has regular meetings at SRH Hochschule Berlin and additional experts, researchers, and administrators are frequently invited to these meetings.
