Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (Tilburg)

Die Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg (NL) offers a portfolio of bachelor and master programs that is very similar to the hdpk. In addition to the Rockacademy, Fontys offers its guest students an offer in the fields of art, communication and design.

Application deadline for the winter semester is 15 May, for the summer semester 15 November.

inHolland University of Applied Sciences (Haarlem)

inHolland is a polytechnic with several locations in the Netherlands. We cooperate with the Department of Music at the campus in Haarlem near Amsterdam.

Application deadline for the winter semester is the 1st of May, for the summer semester the 1st of November.

Musikkons - Royal Academy of Music (Aarhus/Aalborg)

https://www.musikkons.dk/index.php?id=13The Danish National Center of Competence in Electronic Music (DIEM for: Danish Institute of Electronic Music) is part of the Aarhus University of Music (DK). It has two modern sound studios, making it particularly suitable for artistic work and research in the various genres of electronic music.

Application deadline for both semesters is April 1st.

VMI - Vienna Music Institute

Since 1999 the Vienna Music Institute offers a state-approved study and course program for the professional education of students from Germany and abroad, specializing in the field of modern jazz and popular music.

Application deadline for the winter semester is 15 May, for the summer semester 15 November.

University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur

The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur is a university in Switzerland with about 1,600 students. It offers Bachelor, Master and further education courses in the disciplines of architecture, civil engineering, digital science, management, multimedia production, photonics, technology and tourism.

We cooperate with the university in the field of media design.

Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communications and Technology

The Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communications and Technology is a unique and innovative college for students who want to work in the arts, communications and technology sectors.

Because of its unique interdisciplinary capabilities and close collaboration with relevant companies, Westerdals Oslo ACT is considered one of the most exciting universities in the European education market.

The hdpk cooperates with the study programs Popularmusik and Creative Industries with the Westerdals.

NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences (Breda)

The NHTV is a college with approximately 7,000 students from over 100 countries. It is located in the south of the Netherlands, in the city of Breda, only 100 km from Amsterdam and Brussels.

It was founded in 1966 as an institute offering bachelor programs in tourism and leisure. In this area, NHTV is the largest and leading educational institution in the world.

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki)

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of applied sciences in Finland and is located in Greater Helsinki.

The university has four fields of study: culture, economics, health and social services, and technology. Classes are also offered in English.

 

University for the Creative Arts (Maidstone, Kent)

The University for the Creative Arts is a specialized art and design university in the South of England.It was founded in 2005 as the University College for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester, and merged with the Kent Institute of Art and Design into the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, which already had an academic status.

In 2008, she was awarded the status of university, and the name changed in the current one. In 2016, she merged with the Open College of the Arts.

İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi (Istanbul)

Bilgi University in Istanbul is a private university with approximately 11,000 students, including more than 2,000 international students. As an independent institution and through its liberal research and promotion of free thinking and creativity, the University holds a special position in Turkey.

The university was founded in 1996. Today, the university has seven faculties, four schools, three colleges and three institutes with graduate programs.

The Bilgi University is divided into four campuses. You are on the European side in the heart of Istanbul in the districts Kuştepe, Dolapdere, Kozyatağı and in Santral at the end of the Golden Horn.

Saint Louis College of Music (Rom)

Founded in 1976, Saint Louis College of Music is well-known for its professional education for students of jazz and popular music, electronic music and film music.

Located in the center of Rome, a few steps from the famous Collosseum, Saint Louis College has more than 50 multifunctional music rooms, five recording studios, an art agency, three labels, a music magazine and a research center for jazz music.

There is a partnership with Saint Louis College for B.A. Music production and B.Mus. Popular music.

Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Madrid)

The Universidad Antonio de Nebrija is a private Spanish university with two campuses in Madrid. With five faculties and a business school, the Universidad Nebrija offers a broad range of subjects and an education that is closely aligned with the requirements of industry. As well as having numerous English-language programmes, the University offers international students the opportunity to improve their knowledge of Spanish. Since the winter semester 2014/15, we have been collaborating with the audiovisual Communications department.

The applications deadline for the winter semester is 15 June, 31 October for the spring semester.

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – Mataró School of Technology (Barcelona)

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is a technical university situated in Barcelona; with around 33,000 students it is one of the largest technical universities in the country. At the Tecnocampus in Mataró, the UPC operates a learning and research centre which focuses on fields like marketing and the designing of apps and games, and operates in conjunction with the hdpk for the "Marketing und digitale Communities". course.

The applications deadlines for the summer and winter semesters are 31 March and 31 October respectively.

The hdpk has a new international partner: The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London. ‘The Institute’, as it is commonly known, is a highly-regarded music school and since the mid-1980s has offered exceptional courses for musicians working in the field of contemporary popular music. Associated with the University of East London (UEL), the Institute covers subjects ranging from playing technique and songwriting to music production and management within the music industry, and offers popular week-long summer schools for musicians and songwriters.

The Institute has a wide network of partners, including the Fermata music academy in Mexico, the Fontys University in the Netherlands and the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM); the hdpk is moving towards also being a member of this network.
